A small journal for those who find calm on a perfect fall night.
This book has been bound in orange Harmatan goat leather, hand tooled with leaves and a bat, and finished with a full original painting of a pumpkin patch under a spooky October moon, framed in gold ink. The endbands are handsewn orange and black cotton. The top and bottom edges are painted black with a splatter of orange, while the fore edge is left raw. The endpapers are an ornate orange and black chiyogami paper.
The journal has hand ploughed edges and has been rounded and backed with a hollow and false raised bands. The boards are laced on with recessed cords.
This is a handbound leather journal on blank 24lb gold parchment astroparche paper, perfect for writing or various dry art mediums. It contains at least 148 sheets and measures approximately 4.5” x 5.5”
