Hello Sweetie: Distressed Blue Journal
Spoilers! In an ode to everyone’s favorite Space Wife, I’ve handbound this blue diary with laced on boards and veg tanned goat leather. The exterior has been distressed to mimic the look of a book on a mission through time and space. The leather is hand dyed in a custom mixed dye color. The endpages are chiyogami constellation paper. The endbands are handsewn black and gold silk. The top and bottom edge are ploughed smooth and painted a deep blue with white and shimmery gold splattering on top.
Because leather is a natural product, there are a few slight marks as pictured. In this case, the book has been further distressed with additional marks.
The paper is a 24lb parchment-style acid free in natural, 148 sheets.
This book measures approx. 5.75” x 8.5”
